For Playgroup and Nursery admission, parents will be interviewed along with the child on a particular date and time the admin office will fix. For the admission of KG 1 up to class 10, parents will have to collect admission form for admission test. The student will sit for the test on a certain date and time fixed by admin office. If the student gets the opportunity to study at OIS following the admission-test result announcement, he/she will be given the necessary information and accordingly.

As the students are coming from different schools following different curriculum, the admission-test questions are set maintaining the standard level of understanding as per the class the candidate wishes to enroll.

A collection of over 8,000 books is continually being extended. It provides an attractive blend of text books and a broad range of non-fiction material with a rich variety of fiction to suit all young tastes. These are supported with an extensive range of newspapers, magazines and journals. There is a growing collection of multi-media resources to enrich further the learning experience of pupils.

The school has established separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology to the highest international standards. These three laboratories have been designed in accordance with the standards conforming to the requirements of Cambridge International Examinations and are used extensively by the students of O and A Levels. All three labs are equipped with state of the art resources and materials, full lab assistance support and highly trained teachers. All possible safety measures are observed to make the labs safe places for learning.

We have two major exams around the year: the half-yearly exam and the final exams. We also have six class tests (CTs) which are conducted in between half-yearly and final. CT marks are added to half-yearly and final exams to ensure a thoroughly academic attitude round the year.

Junior and Middle section (Playgroup to Class 4) students will have regular library classes to learn friendly uses of books in every sphere of life. Senior, O & A level students are free to study inside the library and collect books during any of their free classes with the permission of Class Teacher. Tiffin period and after school hours are also excellent for such purpose.

Usually, the admission test is taken on Saturdays. But the exact time will be given by admin office when you pick up the admission package.

Admission test will be on English and Math only.

No, Bangla is not compulsory for NRB or foreign students.

Yes, transport is available for the students. Any student from KG 1 to up to A level can avail transport. For more details, please contact the Transport Manager.
